The Vealey Group in New Bern is looking for qualified Plant Operators. This position will be a long-term contract position in Aurora. This position does require shift work including nights, weekends and holidays.

· Ability to read and interpret technical documents, such as process flow diagrams and equipment manuals.
· Excellent attention to detail.
· Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
· Ability to wear required, company-provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
· -i.e., uniforms, steel-toed boots, safety glasses, emergency breathing apparatus.
· Work environment will be indoors and outdoors (in all weather conditions).
· Ability to always follow safety guidelines.
· Ability to be clean shaven for safety reasons.
· Perform all work in a safe and controlled manner, adhere to safety and environmental policies.
· Work safely to prevent on-the-job injuries by following OSHA, MSHA, and MARSEC guidelines.
· Work as part of a team to complete assignments and minimize down-time.
· Work as a productive team member and support continuous improvement.
· Cross-train and work in all areas of the facility, as needed.
· Follow all safety rules and regulations as set forth by the company.
· Work a 12-hour rotating shift.
· Work with rail cars to load or unload products liquid and dry.
· Stand, squat, lift, bend and walk on uneven ground.
